SAMLARC is thrilled to present a variety of engaging events this June. These activities are perfect for bringing the community together and making the most of the summer season. Here's what's on the calendar:

June 1: Fishing Derby

SAMLARC members of all ages are invited to grab their fishing poles and head to the lake for a friendly competition. Categories include:

Longest Fish (child and adult)

Heaviest Fish (child and adult)

Most Fish (child and adult)

Tiniest Fish (child) in Honor of Bradley Rofer

Compete against friends and neighbors and see who reels in the best catch!

June 6-7: July 5th Beach Club Wristband Lottery

The 2-Day Star Spangled Spectacular is full of fun! While the Beach Club is open to all Members and guests on July 4th (no wristbands required), access on Friday, July 5th is limited to authorized members and guests with wristbands. The Wristband Lottery will be open for registration starting at 10 AM on June 6th through 11 PM on June 7th, online only. Winners will be contacted via email on Wednesday, June 12, with details about check-in procedures for July 5th.

June 6: Voice of SAMLARC Singing Competition

SAMLARC is holding auditions for contestants aged 10 and older to sing the National Anthem and "God Bless America" at the Star Spangled Spectacular fireworks show on July 5, 2024. The winner will perform the “Star-Spangled Banner” a cappella before an audience of thousands and enjoy premier seating for their immediate family at the fireworks show!

June 7: Screen on the Green

Bring a blanket, lawn chair, family, and friends to Central Park for a screening of Trolls Band Together. Meet Poppy and Branch, and purchase delicious food from Italian Burger & Grill and Screamin' Ice Cream. The fun starts at 6:30 PM (with blankets and chairs allowed from 5 PM), and the movie begins at dusk, around 8 PM. Thanks to Hurd Homes Real Estate for sponsoring this event!

June 14: Music at the Lake

Enjoy live music by Tim Apple at the Lakeshore Amphitheater from 6:00-8:00 PM. Members can relax and soak in the musical performances, bringing along a chair, picnic dinner, and beverages for a perfect evening by the lake.
