SAMLARC has been a cherished part of the community since 1986, creating nearly 40 years of memories. With over 13,000 homes filled with families and friends, there are countless moments of joy—whether it’s laughter at the Beach Club, fun at the pool, celebrating the 4th of July, or capturing a breathtaking sunset by the Lake. Whatever the occasion, we want to provide residents with the opportunity to share those special memories.

What is your favorite SAMLARC event and why?
Fourth of July
On being an “original resident”… when we were looking to move and purchase a house, we drove to several communities looking at model homes. Although RSM was actually not built yet, we immediately loved the area and the Mountain views. The builder we chose told us of the future community plans - a lake, public pools, beach club, tennis courts and more. Brand new schools were in the works. Hoping all that would happen, we bought our new house and moved in May of 1987. As time passed, the community grew with all the amenities we were promised. I have been involved with community events throughout the years; it was a great way to volunteer, meet new friends, and be involved. It has been amazing to see the area grow and be such a great place to put down roots.
