Evolve Pickleball

Pickleball is a paddleball sport (similar to a racquet sport) that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, much like a wiffle ball, with 26-40 round holes, over a net. We invite you to learn this fast growing sport through our Pickleball program! Kevin and Shelly are both certified instructors and are excited to bring their expertise to the SAMLARC Community!

Learn to Play Pickleball! This Newbie/High Beginner class is geared towards individuals both newer to Pickleball or those that lack skill consistency in their overall game. Each week will focus on a specific skill set such as footwork and balance, stroke production, shot selection and basic strategy.

Drills and Skills Pickleball! This Low Intermediate class is geared towards individuals looking to fine tune your skills. Each class will focus on 1-2 specific skills with targeted drills to improve your shot consistency, reduce unforced errors and achieve better court positioning. This class will help build confidence in your stroke production, consistency, and improve your overall performance for greater success on the courts.

Please note: All equipment will be provided by the instructor for the duration of the clinic. Wearing tennis shoes is highly recommended. Please bring your own water bottle.
