The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has impacted our world and all facets of life. FirstService Residential, SAMLARC’s Management company is monitoring closely the latest information from the California Department of Public Health, Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization. The health and safety of SAMLARC Members and their families is the SAMLARC Board of Directors' foremost priority.
To protect public health and slow the spread of the Coronavirus, SAMLARC is undertaking the following measures regarding:
SAMLARC events and activities
Outside user groups of SAMLARC facilities
These measures will be evaluated every two to three weeks as the Coronavirus situation evolves and subsides.
SAMLARC Events and Activities
Consistent with the California Department of Public Health “Gathering Guidelines”, SAMLARC is taking the following measures related to gatherings described below:
SAMLARC events and activities that include 250 people or more will be postponed or canceled
Smaller SAMLARC events and activities that do not allow social distancing of six feet per person will be postponed or canceled
Cleaning services for Beach Club restroom facilities have been increased from once per day to twice per day, seven days a week
Parks will continue to be cleaned once a day, with a second cleaning scheduled on Saturday and Sunday
Beach Club entry gate, all doors, counter tops, public work areas (Fiesta Room, Beach Club office) will be disinfected three times a day.
Hand sanitizer will be made available at the Beach Club Office during office hours
The newly added services will focus on the cleaning of countertops, gate handles, and other facility fixtures which may be contacted by the community and/or staff on a regular basis.
Outside User Groups of SAMLARC Facilities
Non-SAMLARC groups and sports organizations using SAMLARC facilities through a Facility Use Permit, Limited Use License Agreement or other form of a permit will be responsible for determining if they wish to move forward with their permitted activity and will also be responsible for any safety measures they wish to enact.
