Board of Directors Meeting Highlights: October 27, 2020


The SAMLARC Board of Directors held their monthly meeting on the evening of October 27, 2020. Due to declarations from the State of California and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, the physical assembly of the Board of Directors meetings was not feasible to accomplish while maintaining proper social distancing measures. In order to protect public health while continuing to support SAMLARC operations, the Board of Directors held a virtual Open Session Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. The Board of Directors took action on the following items during the October 27, 2020 Open Session Meeting.

 

Approved proposed revisions to the Architectural Standards and Policies & Guidelines, and directed Management to make the documents available for Member Review in November. Members will receive notification of the documents’ availability, as well as the 2021 Budget and 5300(b)(9) package, on the SAMLARC Connect Resident Portal. The Board will adopt the Policies & Guidelines and Architectural Standards in January 2021.
