Community Sports

SAMLARC meticulously maintains its recreational and athletic facilities for the enjoyment of its members, and is home to numerous nationally recognized Sports League programs.

SAMLARC's sport and athletic amenities include 17 sports fields for football, soccer, baseball, softball and lacrosse, an enclosed soccer arena, 13 tennis courts, 4 pickleball courts, 6 basketball courts, 3 volleyball courts and 4 miles of walking trails.  Click the green button to check the Sportsfield Mudline status.

Santa Margarita Little League

Santa Margarita Little League provides a supervised program under the Rules and Regulations of the Little League Baseball, Incorporated. Its goal is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger, and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.

Santa Margarita Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading

Pop Warner Football/Cheerleading is a national program operated for the benefit of the children who play the game and lead the cheers. Since its inception, the program philosophy has been: Academics and athletics go hand and hand. The Pop Warner Football Programs provides the opportunity for participants between the ages of 5 - 15 years (on or before 7/31) to play or cheer in an organized youth sport.

Rancho Trabuco Girls Softball Association (RTGSA)

Rancho Trabuco Girls Softball Association  (RTGSA) is a volunteer driven, California non-profit public benefit corporation, serving female athletes ages 5 to 15 and their families. Our success in achieving these objectives is largely measured by how many players return year after year, and whether our girls learn to enjoy the game of softball.

American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) Region 630

Region 630 is located in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA and serves the communities of RSM, Coto de Caza, Dove Canyon, Trabuco Canyon, Las Flores, Wagon Wheel and adjoining areas in South Orange County. Their mission is to provide a rewarding soccer experience for the children, parents, and volunteers in the communities they serve. The Region is a part of AYSO Area 11-L (South Orange County), and AYSO Section 11 (Southern California).

OC Rebels Lacrosse

The OC Rebels Lacrosse Club is dedicated to building the game of lacrosse in the greater OC area. Join us for clinics, leagues and tournaments year round. Participant levels include 5th through 12th grade. We strive to offer the best of what's around for our players and families, therefore, each season, our programs change based on the opportunities available.

Rancho Santa Margarita National Junior Basketball (NJB)

Founded in 2001 NBJ is a non-profit organization with 100% volunteer board members and coaches. Our mission is to teach players the fundamentals of basketball, promote exercise, good sportsmanship, love of the game, safety and fun. There is a division for all levels of payers, from beginners to more experience and skilled players. Rookies start at kindergarten to 1st grade, Divisional start at 2nd to 8th grade and All-Net start at 5th to 8th grade.

Rancho Santa Margarita Arena Soccer

The RSM Arena Soccer Club is a group of adults who like to get together to play arena soccer. Adults of all ages, skill levels, and abilities are welcome.  We offer open pick-up sessions every Saturday at 10:00am and weekday evenings from mid March thru October. We also offer a Sunday league which runs throughout the year between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Nadadores Swim Team Foundation

The Mission Viejo Nadadores Summer Satellite Program offers several off-site locations that  run during the summer at the Arroyo Vista Pool. The goal of our Satellite Teams is to have a ton of fun, while providing every swimmer with the opportunity to improve on their skills and achieve success according to their individual abilities!
