Spring is upon us and we are excited to share a variety of exciting new programs that are available to all SAMLARC members! We are pleased to announce the launch of several fun activities available for all ages, including a new children’s soccer program, fitness boot camps by the lake and an evening yoga class to help you unwind from your day!
Gentle Yoga Evening Class –
We invite you to join our Gentle Yoga class, now offered on Monday evenings from 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM in the Lago Santa Margarita Beach Club Fiesta Room. This class will be in addition to the current Tuesday and Thursday morning classes that are offered from 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM. This gentle, deep stretch yoga class is a great option for anyone who is looking for a kinder, gentler and safer form of yoga. The class is designed for both beginners and intermediate students who want to increase their flexibility, balance, range of motion and strength by combining breath with movement. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to learn and practice yoga in this fun, group environment and reconnect with their minds and bodies.
Soccer Shots –
As the weather gets warmer, now is a perfect time for children (between the ages of two and five years-old) to get involved in Soccer Shots! This engaging children’s soccer program focuses on basic soccer skills as well as character development! The first session of this new class began on Tuesday, March 6th and will run through Tuesday, May 8th at Central Park. The caring Soccer Shots team positively impacts children’s lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, communication and curriculum. Soccer Shots coaches are well-trained and their expert-approved curriculum aligns with the current childhood education standards. Soccer Shots is a great way to keep your kiddos physically active and foster quality character attributes!
Casey’s Bootcamp –
This exciting new bootcamp allows you to switch up your everyday workout routine and brings you outside to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful view! Casey’s Bootcamp is offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM at the Lago Santa Margarita Lakeshore Park (meeting at the Beach Club!) These classes provide a cardio strength and core work out that focuses on burning the maximum amount of calories while engaging and toning muscles. Each fifty minute workout includes interval training and body resistance while using equipment such as kettle bells, speed ladders and battle ropes. This class is taught in a positive and supportive environment that will encourage every student to do their best and have a lot of fun. Energetic music will also be played to compliment this high-energy work out. Fulfill your fitness goals and join us in creating a happier, healthier community!
