Event Recap: Animals Everywhere

Thank you to all who attended Animals Everywhere on Saturday, March 24th!

Animals Everywhere offered an exciting, educational and action-packed day for kids of all ages! Children were invited to learn about (and interact with) creatures big and small! Guests also enjoyed crafts, games and delicious local food from a variety of vendors!

Animals Everywhere featured two live exotic animal shows; “Wild Wonders” and “Exotic Birds.” Wild Wonders educated adults and children alike about animals including the American porcupine, the possum, and the armadillo! During the Exotic Birds show, the audience was treated to a display of birds including the macaw, cockatoo, and an informational segment about the common chicken

Throughout the event, children enjoyed a pony carousel, several petting-zoo exhibits containing bunnies and puppies, farm animals, and even a portable tidepool! The tidepool showcased a bamboo shark, a stingray, starfish, horseshoe crabs, and other aquatic wildlife. The creatures were perfectly comfortable with the constant movement associated with the transport and setup of the tidepool as it replicated the natural turbulence of an ocean tidepool!

DJ Jerry entertained the crowd with music while food and beverages were provided by Scream n’ Ice Cream Truck, Kurt’s Catering, Koa Kahuna Shave Ice, and Chick Fil-A!

The event even had a rock wall and bubbleologist, courtesy of Jolly Jumps! Kids practiced their climbing skills, and staff members assisted kids with all the bubbly rainbow fun.

Also present at the event were booths representing the following:

Rancho Santa Margarita Library

Scooters Jungle

Junipero Serra Catholic High School
