The SAMLARC team is thrilled to introduce its newest team member: George Blair! George joins the team as SAMLARC’s Assistant General Manager, and his passion and insight are a great match for our thriving community.
George’s love for community has been an important guide in his professional life. Prior to his arrival at SAMLARC, George served as the Lifestyle Director of Ladera Ranch Community Services, where he strengthened community through events, establishing a digital Ladera community, and community outreach initiatives. George also oversaw the Sports, Aquatics, and Partnership programs at the City of San Clemente, and worked in Recreation and Community Services at Saddleback Valley Unified School District for over ten years. George holds a Master’s Degree in Recreation Administration from CSU Long Beach and a B.A. in Social Ecology from UC Irvine. The unique combination of these experiences will inform George’s role as SAMLARC’s Assistant General Manager.
George and his wife Ashley are both passionate about creating community - Ashley works with the City of Mission Viejo as a Recreation Supervisor. George and Ashley have two young boys. The Blair family enjoys being outdoors, spending time together, and watching Angels baseball. On a warm summer evening, you may find them at the beach.
As a former SAMLARC resident, George is familiar with SAMLARC’s dedication to a thriving community. Now he is eager to be part of the team that brings SAMLARC’s community vision to life. Keep an eye out for George throughout the community – he will be joining our landscaping team on property inspection tours, visiting the Altisima & Solana Pool Deck project sites, and voyaging out on the Lago Santa Margarita to learn what it takes to maintain a beautiful Lake.
George looks forward to connecting with the SAMLARC community, and may be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
