The SAMLARC Board of Directors met on the evening of September 24, 2019. The Open Session Agenda for the meeting and corresponding Open Session Board Agenda Reports can be found HERE.
The Board of Directors accomplished the following items during the September 24, 2019 Open Session Meeting:
Welcomed new Board Director Judy Vasquez to the SAMLARC Board of Directors. Director Vasquez was appointed by the Board following the departure of former Director Dennis Reid.
Reviewed Board Director Committee assignments, as authorized by President Robert Dickson following the appointment of Director Vasquez. Director Vasquez will serve on the Landscape and Facilities Enhancement and Community Lifestyle Committees, and Director Paul Persiani will serve on the Lago Santa Margarita Ad Hoc Committee.
Reviewed the SAMLARC Architectural Standards and Policies & Guidelines for implementation in 2020. The Directors and Membership will have the opportunity to review the proposed Architectural Standards and Policies & Guidelines prior to formal adoption in January 2020.
Approved work authorizations with professional service providers throughout the community to:
Replace and repair chain link fencing at Central and Vista Verde Parks
Replace and refurbish basketball backboards and rims at Altisima Park
Mitigate and address pest control throughout the community
Approved participation in the educational California Lake Management Society Conference to continue improve the care and operations of the Lago Santa Margarita.
Approved contracts related to the 2019 Holiday Season at SAMLARC, including holiday banner displays and Tree Lighting event logistics and performances.
Renewed contracts with SAMLARC programs instructors to provide unique programs throughout the year such as Playtime Adventure (youth soccer) and StrollerStrides (fitness program).
