Event Recap: The Mad Hatter Children's Tea Party

The Mad Hatter Children’s Tea Party offered an exciting, Alice-In-Wonderland themed afternoon of food, fun, and activities for children of all ages! As the attendees arrived, they were immediately immersed into “Wonderland” with hanging lanterns, life-sized Alice props, and tea party treats. Children were invited to attend the event in-costume, resulting in half a dozen “Alice” characters, several playing-card costumes, and numerous dapper-dressed gentlemen who could be entered in our costume contest!

The party featured an Alice in Wonderland inspired ballet performance (courtesy of Dance Works), a creative spread of brunch options, as well as activities and games. A few popular activities included planting wildflowers and painting on canvases provided by Pinot’s Palette RSM! The stars of the event were the Alice and the Mad Hatter characters who interacted and took pictures with the children.

Throughout the event, attendees were treated to music from DJ Jerry and food from Jolly Jumps. Children played an exciting round of bingo, decorated coloring pages, and enjoyed the beautiful thematic atmosphere.

The Mad Hatter Children’s Tea Party was a fun-filled and memorable day for kids in the SAMLARC community. Visit the Events page on the SAMLARC website for more photos of this fun event and to learn more about our next event, the Beach Club Opening Day Celebration on May 5th!
